The Seekers

In a windswept upland meadow of rushes and cotton grass, two walkers search for the secret nest of the Curlew. Legend tells that a Curlew rescued the prayer book belonging to St Beunos, while he crossed the waters from Ynys Llanddwyn.  In thanks he granted them protection, so that noone may ever find their nests.
This is a large three block Linocut print, printed in four colours, on cotton paper made at St Cuthberts mill in Wells.
